Well she had her Bat Mitzvah Jan 5th. I was so proud! She did wonderfully chanting her Torah portion which was Sh'mot. We had 4 aliyah and the first were the rabbis that were involved with us during the time of study to the time of conversion. My daughters hebrew teachers were the 2nd aliyah. My son and I were the 3rd and Erin was the 4th.
We had a luncheon party at a local Chinese restaurant with our friends.
My parents came, my mother in law found a reason not to but my daughter and I realized that it was her loss, and what a loss it was.
I am so proud of my daughter and her accomplishment.
